Whether one accepts it or not, our society is highly hypocritical. right from younger ages, we separate boys and girls. Girls have separate seats in buses, separate queues (some parts of india are exception to this), and we are now trying to bring a quota system on gender basis.

This separation, unknowling sows a sort of attraction towards opposite sex. Adding to the woes are indian cinema. Invariably, all the herioines in the film falls in love with the hero who eve-teases her earlier. This conveys a wrong message as if eve-teasing is heroism.

Another aspect is censor ship that has no meaning. The more we try to ban a thing, it creates a curiosity. This curiosity leads the new generation in wrong ways, courtesy, websites that are notorious for this.

Punishing such perverts will never bring an end to such issues. Why these guys have become perverts? Let us think on this. Who failed here? the system of education, the society or the people?

A psychological angle makes it clear that these drivers would have been made to realize that this girl is beyond their reach. This created a spark and it got ignited during holi. I am not supporting those drivers. I am trying to theorize the reason for such pervert-behavior.

Knowingly or unknowingly, all of us have a contribution towards this. indeed a subject needs to be debated at length.

Such incidents effectively kill the festive spirit and mar the celebrations. Your society should take strong measures and ensure better security for the residents.

Gpalkrishnan ji

Yes cine media is definitely one to be blamed. As when they show crime being comitted, they aso show the helpnessness and cowardness of people!  They should on the contrary show people with courage who fight the crime when commited and not wait for a hero always to recue them out.
thanks for the comments

shame on us and our society? how to stop such perverts? i would blame the cine media for the spoil as violence is glorified as heroism. We stopped teaching value lessons in our schools long back. Even teachers have a ball with students and guzzle liqor. slowly we will go to the olden days where ladies would dare not to come out and this will become a culture after a century!

The cycle is coming one more round. thats it!

>>The names of the residents who were watching cowardly the whole act I am not disclosing as of now, but will be forced to do so in case of no strong action is taken against the drivers in this week.

If you have guts - reveal the names and let the world know you were one of them...
